The Swarthmore Fire and Protective Association regrets to announce the passing of Chief Cris Hansen on June 5th, 2008.
Viewing will be held at the Swarthmore Presbyterian Church, 727 Harvard Ave, Swarthmore, Pa. from 14:00 to 20:00 on Friday, June 13th.
On Saturday, June 14th, a brief viewing will be held from 8:00 to 9:00 at the Swarthmore Presbyterian Church, with the funeral service immediately afterward.
To clarify our previous announcements, all of Cris’ friends and co-workers are welcome and encouraged to attend the funeral service at the Swarthmore Presbyterian Church. Companies wishing to send apparatus & personnel should report to the Saints Peter & Paul Cemetery by 10:00.
Sixth District Companies are requested to report to the designated staging area on Myers Avenue in Swarthmore by 09:00. Regrettably, due to the limited space available at the Swarthmore Presbyterian Church, the invitation to firefighters to the funeral service will be limited to Sixth District Companies.
We ask that you keep Cris's daughters, family and friends in your thoughts during this difficult time.
