The Fire Line Officers of the Rutledge Fire Company consist of the Chief, Deputy Chief, Assistant Chief and Captain.  The Fire Chief is elected each year and will appoint the remaining line officers for the term.

Currently the line officers, with the exception of the Chief, follow a weekly duty officer rotation.  The duty officer will respond to the location of the call to evaluate the situation and/or co-ordinate the company's response as required.

All day-to-day operations are overseen by the Deputy Chief, Assistant Chief and Captain positions.  Each officer is also assigned various duties for which they are responsible.
